Santiago, Brian, and Scott were all super awesome at helping me get my new Buick! There was a lot to go over but they all explained it really well and were very thorough. I'm loving my new car and got an amazing deal on it; even though it took a long time to get through paperwork it was all worth it! Definitely recommend making the drive down there (I live in Minneapolis.)
Extreme disappointment with Red Wing Chevy. I had inquired about purchasing a used car for $7,300. I asked about financing, and Brian sat down with me. After running my credit, he said my credit was poor. I immediately knew something was off, because my credit score is 663 (about average). Anyway, he persisted. I may be a first time buyer, but I'm not an idiot. The numbers he gave me were WAY wrong. He said for the $7300 car I wanted, a 19% interest rate with $1000 down, 52 months with $250 monthly payments was he best he could do. Is that a freakin joke? Do that math. That's around $14,000. Mind you, the car I wanted was only $7300. He also tried to get me to get a much newer car, which made zero sense. If I couldn't get approved for a 2010, why would I get approved for a 2014? Very glad I didn't agree / sign anything. Brian is SHADY and UNTRUSTWORTHY. First time buyers - BEWARE. This place WILL try and swindle you. I give this place 1/10 stars. One star, because Jacob Hamlin (who I originally contacted about the car) was really nice and helpful. Other than that this place gets a zero. Ridiculous.
I have been a customer for about 10 years now. Scott Hegseth always does a great job taking care of me whenever I need and continues to stay in contact. I have always been impressed with the treatment I get there. The whole staff is great to work with and they treat you like a real person and not just a number. Keep up the great work. I'll stick with them until I can't drive anymore.
