Took a trolley tour, found nice reviews online and felt really bad afterward that I had my family pay money to do it. It was over 10 dollars for adults and they tour was long, you smelled the diesel from the trolley to whole way and it was just very boring. Thought we'd see something along the way that we'd like to go see more of later in the day, but we ended up just leaving Red Wing when the trolley ride was over. Not worth the money.
This is a restored ex-Milwaukee Road depot which houses a visitors bureau and waiting room. The building is kept very clean, including the restrooms, and has a lovely setting with flowers and trimmed hedges. There is short and long term parking on site and is served by Amtrak twice a day. There is a park next to it and is located adjacent to the Mississippi River.
