Nice location, the restaurant nextdoor is great. Pool is nice and staff are friendly. The breakfast us pretty good too! I would stay again.
The room are clean and nicely kept. Bathroom could have used some cleaning (lots of hair on the floor, mold in the caulking, etc) but it was very nice.
Not a great hotel. Got a handicapped room, and the shower pressure was terrible. Breakfast wasn't great either. But it's probably the best option in Red Wing.
The hotel itself was very nice. The room was clean, as was the rest of the property. Someone was running an unlicensed, unregistered, shuttle service out of the lobby, and was being helped by the manager and some of the staff. We, along with at least 20 other guests, were lied to about taxi availability and traffic so we would take this shuttle at $30.00 per person. We waited over an hour for the shuttle to show up, all the while being told by the manager, the desk staff, and Eddie the owner of the shuttles, that traffic and parking is so bad it takes an hour and a half the go 7 miles and return. It took us 9 minutes. Then when we were trying to return from our event the shuttle took over three hours to return and pick up more people. Now the hotel staff is attempting to say it never happened, and that it would never be allowed. If this guy doesn't lose his job country inn and suites will forever lose my business.
Rooms were very nice. Pillows were adequate. Pool looked nice. Breakfast was run of the mill. Heater fan needs a new belt or something, apparently that is the case in all the rooms. The front desk manger said he'd look into it. I'll believe it when I revisit. I was lucky enough to not be paying for the room (in-laws), so don't discount my opinion because of that.
