We Loved our stay at the Golden Lantern Inn. The owner, Sue, was very friendly and has the place in really nice condition. Breakfast was great, the room was classic, and the other guest that we mingled with there over breakfast were fun to talk to. Pretty much a "down to earth kind of place". We will go back, and consider this a great value for a bed and breakfast type of stay.
Christmas time with the beautiful decorations and the warmth of a fireplace in your bedroom. Beautiful hosted that worry about our comfort gave us a wonderful room. Food delish and will be back again. Walking around Redwing on a cool day shopping came back to the B&B to appatizer, Christmas cookies and glass of wine.
We stayed for 2 days for our 10th anniversary. The room was very clean and nice, and the breakfasts were exceptional! Sioux is a very good hostess, and we enjoyed our stay.
Red Wing has many activities to enjoy, and we are looking forward to staying here again.
A nice, interesting, historic house. Located conveniently 5 blocks from the center of Red Wing. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, but showed typical wear and tear of an old house. The hot breakfast was good but not great. Hot coffee available beginning at 7:30 was greatly appreciated. Overall, a good experience with a little room for improvement.
This is me and my mom's 4th annual mother-daughter trip to Red Wing and staying at the Golden Latern. Sioux is beyond amazing! The space is so relaxing, decor is incredibly detailed and her food is amazing!! I recommend this B&B to anyone! We have only stayed in Helen's room, although all rooms are absolutely amazing!
